Who is actually behind Animus Medicus?

The name Animus Medicus may sound mysterious, but you're welcome to take a peek behind the scenes. My name is Wichard Lüdje. I studied medicine and am the founder of Animus Medicus. I've been fascinated by human anatomy my entire life. This is due in no small part to a certain amount of bad luck with injuries, which I had to deal with for a long time. Even as a child, I often found myself at the doctor's or in physiotherapy, where people tried to explain to me how the human body works using standard anatomy images. However, the spark never caught: I could see and understand the images, but I couldn't really empathize with these anatomy images. By using vintage anatomy images, I want to make a difference in better illustrating such images. The human anatomy is fascinating and beautiful; you just have to present it in the right way. With this in mind, I founded Animus Medicus, and since then, I've been delighted every day by how many people are also passionate about anatomy.
