Meet the Founder: Wichard Lüdje
My name is Wichard Lüdje. I am a doctor and the founder of Animus Medicus. My fascination with human anatomy has been a lifelong passion, sparked by my own experiences with injuries and medical treatments.
A Personal Journey
As a child, I often found myself at the doctor’s office or in physiotherapy, where traditional anatomical images were used to explain the human body’s functions to me. Despite being able to see and understand these images, I never truly connected with them on a deeper level.
The Vision for Animus Medicus
Driven by a desire to make anatomical illustrations more engaging and relatable, I founded Animus Medicus. Our goal is to present the beauty and complexity of human anatomy in a way that is both scientifically accurate and visually captivating.
